GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES
If you want to have a successful and rewarding project, make sure you are fully dedicated to the task that you are asked to do: Skillfully, to the best of your abilities, and within the time frame set for that task.
For successful participation:
• Do it completely for the sake of Allah’s and for the pleasure of Allah. Seek only Allah’s face with it, and remember that with every beneficial aspect of it, the more rewards you’ll get from it, insha’Allah.
• Remain dedicated to your task as long as needed, even if this takes a long time.
• Keep in touch at all times with the moderator you are working with – make sure that you are communicating at all times.
• Try your best not to cut on the task you are working on, and make sure you will be able to stick with the task unit the ‘bitter end’ (unless Allah Wills otherwise).
• Upload necessary files as you progress, do not wait until the last moment and upload the final product, rather try to discuss your progress throughout.
• Be open to criticism, and keep focused on the main goal. In the end we are all working for the sake of Allah.
• Get feedback about your task from the moderator and ask their opinion on the best way for you to improve your work.
• Refrain from what angers Allah. Stay away from forbidden subjects in Islam, and subjects of disagreement.
HOW TO DEAL WITH YOUR TASK REQUESTS
• Start with a situational analysis to your task (general).
• Outline ideas for colors, fonts, themes.
• Discuss the task needs.
• Think about what exactly needs to be done for this task to be achieved.
• Don’t hesitate on ask questions about your task, as simple as they are.
• Keep the communication level steady, and make sure you get feedback every while on your performance.
• Respond to all messages in a timely manner, so that the task can go on a steady paste.
• Walk the moderator through the process and deliver.
• Focus on what still needs to be done.
• Check if the task meets the requirements.
